Coordinator Profile

Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management. They transport PPE inventory from the warehouse (headquarters) to their designated vehicles, known as “rolling annexes”, which act as mobile storage units. The system tracks every transfer to and from the rolling annex, providing real-time visibility into inventory levels at all locations. This ensures accountability and seamless field distribution, so every item is where it needs to be, when it’s needed.

Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Maintaining vehicle (rolling annex) inventory of equipment and stock (off site and on site) – including performing a complete inventory checks of all stock and equipment.
  • Managing requests for equipment to be stored / disposed or returned.
  • Managing migration process i.e. when Trust stock is depleting/depleted
  • Liaising closely with procurement to ensure deliveries are accounted for and correctly delivered and any damage or shortages noted.
  • Ensure all stock is appropriately located.
  • Removal of rubbish and housekeeping throughout delivery & storage areas.
  • Reorganizing and providing a logical structure of storing stock.
  • Checking regularly that physical stock and equipment is stored safely in appropriate conditions and ensuing items are stored according to their manufacturer’s instructions.

Here @PPE  Coordinators are the one who is responsible for the Inventories delivered (rolling annex) to Field Personnel and submits reports to the purchaser. 

Other Duties of Coordinator  include:

  • To comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, confidentiality and data protection, reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
  • To maintain and develop own professional knowledge and awareness.
  • To undertake any other such duties or general tasks and hours of work as may reasonably be required and any other responsibilities, which may from time to time, be delegated by your manager.
